Bloomberg’s Primer (2025)

I worked on this six part series as my time at Bloomberg. It had a very unique graphics workflow, as we used mgrts to merge live footage with templated effects and transitions. It added an extra steps in the finishing process when we replaced the raw with the colored footage. Overall, very proud of this innovative and informative content.

 

MandAid: Sketch Spotlight (2019) Camera/Editor

I’m very involved in the comedy community in New York City and I’ve done a lot of low-budget sketches like this. I can make a little go a long way.

Could You Fundraiser (2025):Editor/Colorist

This was a great opportunity to use my editing for a good cause. CouldYou is a non-profit that makes tampons and disposable period products obsolete. They had a big USAID grant that never came through. Each year they put on a show of monologues to raise awareness and this fundraiser was for that play.

N-ly: Viral Video, Shooter and Actor (2021)

One of the most viral videos I ever worked on, at least in the indie scene. 800k. My buddy and frequent collaborator Dejen dreamed this one up and it was fantastic.

VICE News Special Report: Inside Wager (2024)

In this Emmy-award winning piece we look into the the Russian mercenary organization, Wagner. This was part of dozens of documentaries I worked on in my time at Vice, which includes 10 other pieces from the Vice News Special Report series including Death Row Prisoners, Undercover in Mexico, and Turning 20 in Iraq.

 

Traded Athlete (2023): YouTube Digital, Shooter and Editor

I’ve done a ton of work with Dejen over the years. The best part of this project was designing the ESPN frame.

 

Phineas McConkey (2025) Shooter/Editor

Another awesome collab with my partner in content. We got this up for the World Series. It’s half mockumentary and half silent film. Had a blast putting this together.

Feel the Bern: An Exercise Video for the 99% (2016)

Inspired by the character I created in Natasha Vaynblat’s character class, this is a fun no budget production I made with a few friends four loooooong years ago. I was the star, the producer, and the editor for the project.

It’s In the Game: Madden NFL (2024) Broadcast

I came in towards the end of this project to help with the online, though I mostly worked on the graphics. I did archival replacement, I worked closely with the graphics team, I added all of the backlights to the interviews, and general assistant duties.

 

Last Dance Parody (2022): YouTube Digital, Editor, Shooter, Director, Writer

Inspired by the last dance this shoot came together pretty quickly and turned out great. I get to show a little of my Photoshop skills in the thumbnail.

Deadly Dish Podcast (2025) Editor

Taking me back to my Healthcasts days, I’ve been involved with End of Life Choice and helping with videos at the Academy of Aid-in-Dying Medicine run by Lonny Shavelson, the guest of this episode. I revamped the L3s and caption style as part of the edit.

 

Window People (2013) Student film Director/Writer/Producer

My senior thesis at Ithaca College. It's a surprisingly sweet love story told with bold, surrealistic direction and an innovative, formalistic edit. I managed a team of 30 people to complete it.I’m very proud of the scene at the 8 min mark.

"Super Nova" for the Sparrow Film Project (2018)

I was the shooter/editor for this entry in the Sparrow Film Project, a festival which challenges teams to create a 3 minute short film in 3 weeks. At the 14th annual gala, Super Nova's Stephanie St. Hillaire as Dr. Julie won Best Supporting Actress.

Legal Aid Society 2017

A sample of my work as an assistant editor. I quickly synced and logged three days of footage which was then cut by the editor. I've also done AE work for the pilot, For Real, and for a project with Timberland featuring Sonnymoon.

Today is an exciting day for space exploration. China successfully launched 3 astronauts into orbit for the country's fifth and longest crewed mission since 2003. The Shenzhou 10 spacecraft blasted off from the Gobi desert today on a 15-day journey to eventually dock with the orbiting space lab, Tiangong 1.

International Business Times (2013)

Working with International Business Times I cut about 20 of these reports. Shot in front of a green screen, I had a lot of room to be creative and make the cut more engaging. My work with IBT is what helped me land the job with Vladar Company editing their GI Weekly Programs.

Healthcasts "Reel" (2017)

I worked as a video editor with Healthcasts for two years. Not only did I perform high-volume interview editing, but I learned basic coding which I was able to regularly apply on the job. The video below is a humorous super cut of moments that were not included in the final clips and I use it as my reel for my work at Healthcasts.

The following reel is a compilation of short films including, "Seul" (2011), "10:01" (2012), and "Window People" (2013), all of which were written, directed, and edited by Ben Miller with the exception of "Seul" which was edited by co-producer Alex Desmarais.
